Yes ! we could

Barak Obama delivered a power packed speech; the one that resonated the spirit and the emotions that was present in the all historic speech by Martin Luther King. What drove them to come up with an all emotional speech. Basically they believed in what they preached and were not driven by party doctrines or capilistic money lending coroporate honchos.
I have voted twice till now and all the time i have voted with the just the people common sentiment and not by the fact that who would take the realm of power. Does it really matter here in India ? Has anyone ever seen a powerful speech in recent past ? My parents recount the speeches that late Rajiv Gandhi used to usher on his audiences. But recent times, the polictical speeches are mostly to show off the mass following - take note 'the masses who participate are brought in from remote villages like cattle crammed in a truck. Does it mobilize the right masses for the country to embark on a developement ? Taking a leaf out of our Karnataka coalition politics, as Mr.Yeddi.... ( don't know what spelling our CM is carrying now as he's a staunch beliver in non sense ) was taking oath as CM in the 20-20 competition, some folks who were holding the BJP placards when asked replied about the function as a ceremony where Mr.Yeddy... will leave his old small chair and buy a new BIG CHAIR. Should we put faith in these folklore and hope that one day villages and farm will be the greatest contributor to GDP. Yes ! i would ( dont know when )
Other stark differnce in Obamas talk and our politicos talk. Our leaders post a successful win go on striking for photos that would go on to beatify our land for long and then they would preach over and over as to keeping their manifeto alive. What differently Obama did- he didn't utter a thing as to what his goverment in power would do rathe mobilized the people to joing hands to build America to what they dream of. It is the perfect way a leader has to be . Strangely most of the so called leaders fail to do so. Its not about executing all that was printed in the election manifesto a year back but inspiring the people to come out to build the nation.
Would like to end with a irony, when a successful industralist went to the RBI after heeling under the economic meltdown and asked for help, he got a reply " Why did you grow so fast ? "
