Passion to perform

Passion to perform; how many of us have it in us ? let me take you through our daily routine and past, make sense of this very profound phrase ' passion to perform '.
We all study professional courses, why do we ? do we have great plans on our minds when we study engineering to send a shuttle to Pluto or do we have a burning desire to come with a permanent vaccine to any killer disease as a medical student. We all want to land in a plum job that would finance a expensive car, more expensive fuel and stuffs to impress girls . Do we perform in the same organization with fervor and dedication ; do we proactively do our duties and go that extra mile to bring laurels the organization that pays for our pizzas, movies, car and so on.
As Kumble bid adieu to international cricket, Indian cricket lost a passionate cricketer. As UPA ousted Dr.Abdul Kalam, the nation lost a passionate President. A glimse through the past and we have inumerable real life heroes who had the passion to perform. They would not have lived to cherish what they acheived but what they pursued had a great impact. If the soldiers figiting the Kargil battle did'nt have the passion towards the nation, we would have now being engulfed in a civil war within with LOC stretched till Haryana. If Sir.M.Visvesvaraya didn't have the passion we would not have had his legacy of engineering and a wonderful UVCE.
Imagine a world, its a far away imagination. Let me narrower down the radius to our imediate surrouding. If each one of us performs our tasks with passion, what would we achieve and in what time frame . WOW ! it would be like a God's own courtyard where things are clear, pure and fresh.
