Rivers do change course...

Going by the Hindu beliefs, the moola(birth place) of any river is worshiped across many parts of the country. Some times even you get a splash of that fresh water; it is considered as if your sins are washed away like a no-nonsense detergent advertisement.
From there on its the river, its tributaries: major and minor ones that shape the life of a river. Does it ring any bells ? Isn't our life like a river ?
From our birth to the point where go meet the sea; when we decide to become the common man. Its the choice we make as to when we want to become a common man. A stupid common man as the protagonist in the latest Bollywood flick calls. Yes, once a common man, life becomes mundane and the day to day routine is just a mechanical process.
But even the river chooses its path. It makes it own way. There are rivers that irrigate all the way they reach the sea and some cause destruction all the way. It becomes to be known as a curse rather than a blessings. Our destiny is also something similar; we choose the path we want to pursue, do we take a short cut to reach the sea or take the road less traveled, unraveling mysteries. We need to realize the fact that all are given the same blood-flesh combination, all have the same biological clock and have just 24 hours a day to accomplish our dreams. There has to be the spark in us to change the course of our journey to deviate to do what it would keep us going. Yet, we have to serve the common purpose of life, earn a living, attend to our parents and set up a family of our own. But doing all these , it does not deter any one of us to stop and keep asking questions again and again- "what next ? ".
The path we take and time we want to go on till we become a common man is all in our control. One can sure control the direction of our destiny if not our destiny et-al.
